My background includes overseeing multi-billion-dollar global operations, which span over 100 countries, 40 sites, and 10,000 employees, alongside serving as a board director in the MedTech advisory sector and contributing to advancements in surgical robotics.
With over 30 years of experience in surgical robotics, medical imaging, and medical devices, I have served as a Board Director in various MedTech advisory roles. My expertise also spans life science tools, diagnostics, optoelectronics, and semiconductors, making me well-versed in the intersections of private equity and venture capital within the aerospace sector.
As the Board Chair at Opteran Technologies, a UK-based physical AI company, and an independent director at M&M, a Private Equity-funded MedTech critical-components platform, I bring substantial experience to the table. Previously, I served as an independent director at NeuWave Medical, which was acquired by J&J and is now part of Precision IO/Quantum Surgical. I also acted as a board observer at Raydiant Oximetry. Alongside these roles, I am a co-founder and Venture Partner at Tri-Valley Ventures, where I have overseen 19 investments, resulting in two IPOs and three acquisitions, while also providing MedTech advisory in areas such as clinical wearables, cardiac electrophysiology (PFA+), and DentalTech. My expertise extends into the realm of Surgical Robotics, making me well-versed in the evolving landscape of healthcare technology.
